This street is not far from my house in Connecticut. I’ve been meaning to stop and take a photo of the sign. Yesterday, I decided that not to put it off any longer, so I stopped and snapped some photos of it.
I typically don’t eat lunch, but today a delicious tuna sandwich on Italian bread sounded delicious.
The weather here in the Northeast has been unbelievably wonderful. It is so nice to have daffodils in my house as a confirmation that spring is around the corner.
The Weather Here In The Northeast Has Been Quite Strange This Winter. In Hopes That Spring Comes Soon I Felt Compelled To Pick Up A Bunch Of Tulips And Arrange Them In This Beautiful Lundberg Vase.
I’ve been meaning to take a photograph of this fox in the tree for about 3 years. He’s on a winding road to Shakespeare’s Garden and it’s difficult to pull over in order to take a photo. Sunday afternoon I was finally able to pull over. When I stopped the car I stepped out onto a carpet of acorns and was able to get close enough to Mr. Fox to say, “hello there I’ve been wanting to meet you for a few years now.”
One of the things that I love to do this time of year is place pumpkins on the stone wall in front of my house in Connecticut. There’s nothing quite like making a home that goes with the seasons. This weekend I expect lots of little trick or treaters, which is always fun. Plus it’s a great way for me to get to know my Connecticut neighbors.

It’s chilly out so I placed the big salad I made on the back porch while I made a pasta dinner. When I went out to retrieve the salad I saw that all but a few scraps had been eaten. Some deer or raccoon must have thought they were invited for dinner tonight!

The New England weather has turned. This weekend I had to put away my beloved sandals and search out my colder weather boots. Yesterday it even snowed a bit and it’s not even Halloween! The creamery closes October 30th, which prompted me to get my last licks in this weekend.
