Even though it is now officially autumn I’m planting flowers. It makes my heart happy to see the leaves turning colors and the beautiful flowers that I’ve put into various pots. As much as I’m sorry to see summer leave, I welcome the cooler weather. Autumn has always been my favorite season as it’s the time of year when everything bursts with the last of its beauty. To me, it seems as if nature has been saving up all year for her grand finale. Winter will be certainly be here soon enough, which brings its own beauty.

I had a bowlful of organic peaches ripening fast and a lime rolling around in the refrigerator and wondered how this combination would taste together. This morning was the first time that I tried it on toast and I am surprised at how delicious it is. I think that I’ll try making more over the weekend.
This street is not far from my house in Connecticut. I’ve been meaning to stop and take a photo of the sign. Yesterday, I decided that not to put it off any longer, so I stopped and snapped some photos of it.
We welcome the first day of spring with open arms, even IF we are supposed to get snow this evening and tomorrow here in the northeast. Happy First Day Of Spring & Happy Palm Sunday! Have a wonderful day. Blessings on you and your families.
This makes me very angry. I just bought this mozzarella from Whole Foods a few days ago and it’s already turning bad.
