The balance of savory ricotta and bright citrus results in a moist, not-too-sweet, but incredibly flavorful cake you’ll love.

  • 1 1/2 Cups Unbleached Flour
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 3/4 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 3 Large Eggs (Room Temperature)
  • 1 1/2 Cups Whole Milk Ricotta Cheese
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter (Melted And Cooled)
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • Zest Of 1 Orange
  • Juice Of 1 Orange
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease 9-inch spring form pan. Set aside.
  3. In large-size bowl combine flour, baking powder, and kosher salt.
  4. In another large-size bowl combine eggs, ricotta, vanilla, butter, sugar, orange zest, and orange juice.
  5. Add flour mixture and fold gently until just combined. Pour batter into prepared cake pan.
  6. Place in oven for 45 to 50 minutes until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
  7. Remove from oven and cool on wire rack.
  8. Makes 1 Cake
