With all of these fresh garden salad fixings we all need a nice low-fat dressing. Make up a batch of this dressing and serve it either on the side or mixed-in ready to serve.

  • 3/4 Cup Low Fat Buttermilk
  • 1/2 Cup Low Fat Sour Cream
  • 2 Teaspoons Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Hot Red Pepper Sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons Green Onions (Chopped)
  • 2 Tablespoons Flat Leaf Italian Parsley (Chopped)
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Fresh Dill (Chopped)
  • 1 1/2 Teaspoons Garlic Clove (Chopped)
  • 1 Teaspoon Fresh Oregano (Chopped)
  • 1 Teaspoon Fresh Thyme (Chopped)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Freshly Ground Pepper
  1. In a medium-size bowl, whisk together buttermilk, sour cream, vinegar, and hot pepper sauce. Add green onions, parsley, dill, garlic, oregano, thyme, kosher salt, and pepper. Pour over salad and toss to coat evenly. If you’re not going to use right away, place covered in refrigerator until ready to use.
