Parmesan fries are baked in the oven, instead of fried, for a healthier alternative.
- 4 Large Baking Potatoes (Sliced Into Thin Strips)
- 1/4 Cup Olive Oil
- 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese (Finely Shredded)
- 1 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Freshly Ground Pepper
- Seasoning Mix
- 1/4 Cup Parmesan Cheese (Finely Shredded)
- 1 Tablespoon Chopped Parsley
- 2 Teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika
- 1 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1/2 Teaspoon Freshly Ground Pepper
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- With skin on slice potatoes into thin strips and place in large bowl of water to soak for at least 15 to 20 minutes.
- While potatoes are soaking prepare seasoning mix. Combine 1/4 cup Parmesan, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, kosher salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- Drain potatoes and pat completely dry. Toss in large-size bowl with olive oil, 1/2 cup Parmesan, kosher salt, and pepper.
- Spread out fries on prepared baking tray. Place in oven 30 minutes. After 30 minutes turn heat up to 425 degrees for an additional 10 to 15 minutes. Turn tray halfway through.
- Remove from oven and toss with seasoning mix.
- Serve immediately
