I love to make this crispy side dish when delicious fresh asparagus comes into season. You may make the vinaigrette a day ahead for quick assembly.

  • 2 Pounds Asparagus (Trimmed)
  • 3 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Rice Vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Honey
  • 1 Tablespoon Toasted Sesame Seeds
  1. In small-size bowl combine sesame oil, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and honey. Set aside.
  2. In large-size pot bring salted water to a boil. Add trimmed asparagus and cook 4 minutes until just crisp tender. Remove from heat and drain. Rinse in cold water and drain well. Pat dry.
  3. Transfer to serving platter. Drizzle dressing over asparagus. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
