Forget the oatmeal packets and try this overnight oatmeal breakfast. It’s a portable, no-cook breakfast that makes early mornings less stressful. You can customize this recipe with any fresh fruit that tickles your fancy.
- 1/4 Cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (NOT Instant or Steel-Cut)
- 1/4 Cup Nonfat Greek Yogurt (Plain or Sweetened)
- 1/3 Cup Milk (Almond, Coconut, or Dairy)
- 1 Teaspoon Sweetener (Brown Sugar, Agave Nectar, Honey, or Maple Syrup)
- 1/4 Cup Fresh Fruit
- Crunchy Toppings (Granola or Nuts) Add Just Before Serving
- In a mason jar (with tight fitting lid) combine oats, yogurt, milk, and sweetener. Shake to mix.
- Remove lid, add in fruit and place in refrigerator overnight.
- In morning remove from fridge and add toppings before serving.
- Serves 1
