Sweet glazed onions are a perfect pairing with meats and vegetables. I even like to add them to green salads.
- 2 Pounds Small White Onions
 - 3 Cups Water
 - 4 Tablespoons Butter
 - 1 Teaspoon Kosher Salt
 - 1/2 Teaspoon Freshly Ground Pepper

- Peel onions, leaving a little bit of the root end attached to help onions hold their shape.
 - In a large-size skillet, combine onions and water. Heat to boiling over a high heat. Reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes until tender. Remove from heat. Drain well and set aside.
 - In same skillet, melt butter over a medium heat. Add onions, kosher salt, and pepper. Shake skillet occasionally and cook 15 minutes until onions have browned.
 - Remove from heat and serve with meats, vegetables, or salads.
 - Makes 8 accompaniment servings.
